Well not quite actually, but we did win the nearest the hole competition generously sponsored by the Marriott Tudor Park Hotel and Country Club at a recent Kent Invicta chamber golf day.

Fort Horsted Business Centre returned to the Kent 2020 show one year on from launch with a new website, logo, brand image and most importantly, new clients. OK, we lied about Milan. October 25th saw six designers from the Mode Future project parade their designs on the longest cat walk in Kent. This European funded project is promoting new designers on both sides of the channel at major trade fairs but the outstanding star of the show was our Fort.

Area 9 - a new business start up, is offering much needed rehearsal and recording space to musicians in the Medway region. They have chosen the Fort because of its unique location and the soundproofing opportunities offered by walls over four feet thick.

Concept Conferences, an expanding business, has relocated to the Fort and is offering a personal service to clients who are looking for a professional solution when making arrangements for events large and small anywhere in the world.

The training academy is now open for business offering a range of both business and personal development workshops. The academy is also offering for hire the training and conferencing facilities in this truly unique venue.

Bamboo Business and Training Ltd has relocated to Fort Horsted as part of its two year strategy to support the Medway regeneration project.

“The Kent 20 / 20 Exhibition, on April 26th 2007, saw the beginning of the latest chapter in the long life of Fort Horsted in Chatham.

Under its current ownership the Fort is being developed into a business centre to provide a large number of affordable start-up and grow-on feeder units for businesses in the Medway area and the exhibition was the official launch date for the enterprise.

'thebathroomfactory.com', has moved into Fort Horsted. With the business now more internet based, they decided to close their shop and utilise one of the excellent casemates that the Business Centre has to offer.
